It is my belief that we are all here to love, play and discover the amazing qualities that we possess as humans; be that to respect and support each other as well as all living creatures.

I truly believe once you honour and respect yourself, life will respond and provide all that you desire - you just have to be willing to take a leap of faith. Be brave enough to fully participate in your life. You are here, so claim your space and live your life authentically.

It is my supreme goal and passion in life to assist people in enhancing the quality of all the facets of their life by providing information and education on how to nourish their bodies with healthful nutrients. Once your body is clean, your mind becomes clearer, your energy is bountiful and your vitality shines. You have a zest, a curiosity and a passion for life that is unmistakable. That undeniable glow will ignite the same in those whose lives you touch.

By mid-late 2016, on completion of my Bachelor of Health ScienceI have big things planned, so stay tuned!

I believe it’s a natural human reaction to assist any human or non-human when you can see or hear they are in pain. Animals are amazing creatures. They have the ability to uplift and touch you in ways that can not be described in words. To bond and create a connection with an animal is magical. To me it’s self-recognition of life in yourself and another being. It’s pure unadulterated love.

I have been a vegetarian (for the most part) since 2006 and made the switch to a vegan diet in 2011. My body felt great on a vegetarian diet, but at that time I lacked the nutritional knowledge to ensure I met all the micronutrient requirements for my active lifestyle; so up until 2011 every 6-12 months I had a small piece of red meat.
I had initially made the plant-based switch for health and fitness reasons but as 2011 neared, and although I ate meat infrequently, I began to intensely dislike the sensation and presence of meat in my body. I gradually became more aware that I could not look into the eyes of my beautiful cat and dog, feel the love connection with their spirit and place a higher importance on their life above any other animal.

At first the transition from vegetarian to vegan was challenging. I was the only vegan I knew that lived near me, so I didn’t have much of a support network. I had a million questions and hardly any answers. I felt overwhelmed and alone. I did a stack of research on raw and whole foods and discovered green juice and green smoothies. For me, they were the key to limitless energy and amazing health through a vegan lifestyle.

I am more the stealth health warrior than the in-your-face activist. I applaud the work of activists and appreciate all they do for animals rights, however my contribution to the plant-based movement is primarily through nutrition, health and wellness. And I am proud to say I have supported a number of people on their journey transitioning to a vegetarian and/or vegan lifestyle.

My advice to those wishing to go plant based is to seek out healthy vegans that are nourishing their bodies with whole foods. Ask questions; it’s not as overwhelming as it may first seem. Also drink green juice daily! It's a liquid mutlivitamin and what I believe to be the elixir of life! I promise you will feel amazing on all levels of your being - physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.
