Whitney AyersHollywood, CA

Nutritionist, Activist, Health Coach

Whitney is a Board Certified Health Coach and Private Celebrity Chef in Los Angeles. Whitney studied nutrition and physiological psychology to understand how to heal our bodies and our minds down on a cellular level. However, most of Whitney’s knowledge comes from her passion and belief in the importance of raw vegan foods, lifestyle and cleansing. Whitney was in several severe accidents and with her ability to heal so quickly, her little brother thought she must have super powers, but she attributes it all to a holistic lifestyle and the use of super foods such as Reishi, maca and E-3 Live. When Whitney was told she needed two separate surgeries, she began her own research in the benefits of raw vegan food, meditation and cleansing. Seeing that there were endless cases of incredible recovery stories, Whitney took on the lifestyle with diligence and became her very own success story. She healed fully without needing surgery and without the use of western medicine. Whitney has worked the past 5 years with some of Hollywood's elite. Her clients have overcome everything from cancer, addiction and made incredible lifestyle changes. In her core Whitney believes the answers to our problems are simple, "Just go back to basics" and give our bodies the ability to thrive with the earth's vibrant and healing foods.

I started out as a vegetarian. Ever since I was young I couldn't separate my love for animals from eating them. After suffering many injuries and illnesses I started educating myself on all animal products and was horrified and deeply saddened by the truth and quickly cut them out of my life. As a result, my entire body and health changed. The simple act of removing dairy from my life transformed my body without any other lifestyle changes.

By doing a beautiful act for the animals and the planet, I was given the beautiful gift of health.

The vibrancy and healing I received from being vegan definitely made it easier. I think the best thing to know is that there are alternatives to Everything. Also, taking it step by step insures an easier and more sustainable transition.

I work as a Raw Food Chef and Health Coach helping people transition off of meat and dairy. I love participating in demonstrations. I confronted Al Gore to try and convince him to go vegan for 30 days. I have toured the country with PETA educating people on animal rights. And I have been known to cover myself in 'blood' and lay in a meat tray to show that 'flesh is flesh'. The shock gets their attention then it's our job to share the facts and hopefully open some eyes : )

I have a number of favorite AR organizations. PETA is amazing! I am always honored to work with them and fight the good fight. Another favorite is The Beagle Freedom Project. They do such incredible work and have opened so many hearts and eyes all around the world relating to animal testing and the horrific truth behind the scenes.

I have so many memories about animals that made an impression on me throughout my life. The first thing I can think of right now is an experience I had with my good friend Jill Ryther. She is an animal rights attorney and was on her way to court, all dressed up, when a lost dog was in the street. Without any hesitation, she pulled over, got dog food from her car (kept there for this reason) and was able to get the dog off of the street and to safety. These are my beautiful friends, who show me everyday that it's not always convenient, but it's necessary. And finding that compassion and taking action will change your life in such an amazing way!

If I had the chance to talk to someone considering going vegan I would say - do it!! It will change your life in the best of ways! You make a choice multiple times a day when you eat. With that simple choice you can help save animals lives, the environment and yourself- That is very empowering!
